Aberdeenshire

Sitting to the Northeast of Scotland you will find Aberdeenshire. 165 miles of coastline, 300 castles, ruins and stately homes, countless distilleries and more than 50 golf courses. This region is also home to Balmoral Castle, the home purchased for Queen Victoria by her husband Prince Albert, it has been a favourite home of successive Royal generations since, including the late Queen Elizabeth II. Heading to the village of Crathie, a bit of Royal spotting can be done when members of the family are visiting.
