The South West of Scotland is home to the UK’s largest Dark Sky Park, Galloway Forest, one of the best places to see the stars and on the odd occasion the Northern Lights. Head North to Ayrshire and you’ll find the birthplace of Scotland’s National Bard Rabbie Burns. Looking out west over the Firth of Clyde on a clear day you will see the Isle of Arran and hopefully Goatfell, the islands highest mountain.
