Perthshire

Perthshire, known as Big Tree Country due to having more champion trees than anywhere else in the UK and more than 200,000 acres of woodland. This region’s landscape makes for a variety of outdoor activities to enjoy along with the picturesque towns of Crieff, Dunkeld and Pitlochry. Perth, on the banks of the River Tay and also known as The Fair City, hosts The Stone of Destiny, located in the museum.
