South East Scotland

To the South and East of Scotland you will find East Lothian, where you will find some of the best golf courses – Muirfield and Gullane to name two. However this area has much to offer with over 40 miles of coastline, a range of award-winning attractions, castles and gardens. The birthplace of John Muir, famous Scot and naturalist and founder of the National Park movement in the USA. Continuing south you will find the Scottish Borders is all too often a missed stop by visitors so a stop here offers off-the-beaten-path locations. A gentler landscape of rolling hills, countryside and a picturesque coastline. Several Abbeys and pretty market towns along with a history of textile production dating back to the Middle Ages, await visitors here.
